Can I restore my data on a different computer? To restore your data on a different computer, all you have to do is install OSiDiS on that computer. You can download the OSiDiS Program for free at http://www.osidis.com/download/setup.exe. Then you must reinstall OSiDiS and enter your User Name, your Password and your Secret Code without clicking on the green button on the right of the "Password" field. How much does the restoring of data cost me? Restoring the data is part of your subscription. It is free when you restore your files from OSiDiS. You can nevertheless order a copy of your back up on CD or DVD (http://www.osidis.com/uk/shop). How can I retrieve my data? You can retrieve your data by clicking on the "Restore" tab. Select the files/folders that you want to retrieve. Then click the button "Restore" and choose where you want them to be retrieved (point of origin or specific). Can I restore the complete system including the registries? Yes. If you had selected "System State" from the "Back up" tab, you can retrieve the registries. Can I restore my data on a specific folder? After you select the files/folders that you want to retrieve, click on the button "Restore", then click on "Restore Folders" and choose where you want to restore the data by clicking on button "..." |
